About Transgender Specialists
Our mission is to help build an inclusive platform for educating companies and their employees about what it means to identify as transgender, and about meeting diversity and inclusion requirements in the workplace.
As an international transgender inclusive practice developed by our founder Julie Lyons, we utilize the most current information, research, and resources to bring “Beyond the Binary” awareness to companies and organizations. We help inspire open discussions, encouraging individuals to listen to different perspectives while not being asked to change their beliefs.
We excel at being impartial and communicating effectively with those who hold divergent opinions around gender, gender expression, and gender dysphoria. “To achieve success, we do not all have to agree, and we won’t,” Julie explains. What we do is agree on a shared purpose and partnership in order to meet gender requirements and business goals. We bring people together, while holding a neutral space to adress the tough stuff. Through our town hall meetings, we listen to all sides during an open discussion using the formula "Agree to Disagree".
